Management Experience
Mrs. Zhang is the founding partner of Beijing Highking Law Firm and has been the director since its establishment in 2004. She is in charge of the Finance Committee, Business Supervision Committee and Training Committee.
Professional Experience
Mrs. Zhang has practiced law in China since 1993, formerly practicing at Grandall Law Firm. She has served as a member of the Taxation Committee of the Beijing Lawyers Association, a member of the M&A and Restructuring and the Non-performing Assets Disposal Committee, and Chief Supervisor of The Shaanxi Chamber of Commerce in Beijing. Mrs. Zhang is an Outstanding Lawyer in Beijing, an Outstanding Lawyer in Chaoyang District, an expert in third-party supervision and assessment of compliance of enterprises involved in cases in Beijing, and Executive Director of the Third Council of Beijing Bankruptcy Law Society. She was honored with "Eminent Practitioners" in the field of restructuring/bankruptcy practice of Chambers and Partners. She was also honored "Excellent Expert in Civil Consultation" by the Supreme People's Procuratorate of the PRC in 2021 and 2022.

Mrs. Zhang is a well-known lawyer in the financial field where she has achieved considerable success. She has served as the permanent legal advisor of dozens of state-owned commercial banks, joint-stock commercial banks, securities companies and insurance companies, and she has provided legal services in the fields of banking, securities, trust, insurance, M&A and restructuring of companies and financial institutions, disposal of non-performing assets, financing bond issuance, and asset securitization. Mrs. Zhang has drafted and revised the standard contract texts of dozens of commercial banks, and she has undertaken a large number of international and domestic syndicated and large-scale financing projects, investment banking business, venture capital projects and aircraft finance leasing projects. She has gained significant achievements in the field of litigation and arbitration. She has also represented a large number of difficult and complex litigation cases heard by the Supreme People's Court of the PRC, and has recovered tens of billions for her clients. The cases she represented have been selected for inclusion in the Civil Trial Guidance and Reference of the Supreme People's Court of the PRC. Mrs. Zhang has also served as the legal advisor of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of People's Government of Beijing Municipality, State Development and Investment Corp. and other large-scale state-owned enterprises under the direct control of SASAC of the State Council, and has gained significant achievements in corporate restructuring, reorganization and M&A, etc. At the same time, as a registered tax attorney, Mrs. Zhang provides relevant legal services such as tax planning in M&A and restructuring.
